On the 6 May 2012, Catherine Saint Jude Pretorius called a meeting at her house to discuss the formation of a Drag King troupe. Just 3 months later, BROS B4 HO'S performed their first sold-out show. Set in scenic, eclectic Cape Town, the documentary follows 6 amazing women as they explore their gender identity and perform their own unique personae together. The explores the concept of gender as being socially constructed, and show just how malleable gender really is. Each from different backgrounds and choosing to do drag for different reasons, the women learn to share and express a part of themselves that society most often condemns.
